Tyler Heibeck

I recently completed my dissertation with Dr. Richard A. Cohen in the Vascular Biology Unit at the Boston University School of Medicine and graduated from the Boston University Chemistry Department. My dissertation focued on method development for the detection nitrotyrosine. Currently I am working as a post-doctoral fellow at PNNL with Richard Smith. Originally, I am from Lancaster, PA where I lived for the first 18 years of my life. For undergraduate study I attended Juniata College from 1993 to 1995, and 1996 to 1997. For the 1995 to 1996 academic year I was in Marburg, Germany on a Juniata College Study Abroad program and the Phillips-Universität

Though my professional life is mainly related to chemistry and proteomics I have interests in vocal music (classical a Capella), calligraphy, German (language and culture), gradening, photgraphy, and social regulatory systems.
