My work specialises in DNA interactions at surfaces using Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), primarily for genomic array and drug interaction studies. We are pioneering the use of electrostatic Surface Plasmon Resonance to induce hybridisation and denaturation of monolayer nucleic acid films and to develop a label free method to discriminate base mismatches. |
